About the Journal

Supplementa is a book series of Archiv orientální. This series provides a venue for important works of scholarship, both monographs and edited volumes, dealing with the concept of “encounters” within the same political entity as well as across broader geographical areas. We are interested in a number of different “encounters,” such as cultural, economic, intellectual, linguistic, literary and political exchanges between the Middle East and wider Asia.
